The assessment of risk is key to our management of safety issues.  It helps to ensure that our procedures focus on those potential risks relevant to our operations.   We assess each new activity or project for health and safety risks prior to the grant of internal approvals.   We review active risk assessments on an annual basis and have an ongoing programme of training for staff on the ABP Risk Assessment Toolkit.
